Chris, I am very excited by your first idea, vivid memories. I think this will be challenging, but deeply personal, and you could use your understanding of a range of materials and working methods to add texture and interesting tactile surfaces to enhance the pieces (in this way also combining in number 4 & number 1). I think you will have to do more pre-planning, sketching and image research before beginning your pieces. Try to begin thinking of ways to communicate through your use/application of materials that this is a "remembered"event, not a documentation of a present moment.
ReplyDeleteI think your topic conveying messages about positive change could be really interesting. I'm not sure what exactly you mean by it so it makes me want to know more and see what you make under that concentration topic.
