I think that this figure drawing is very moving. It shows emotion of the person without actually seeing his face. I like that the drawing is almost a gestural drawing, but it has much more detail. It is unfinished in some parts, however, it still looks like a finished piece. For example, the feet seem to fade away into the background. The shoulders and top of the head are very finished and bold unlike the bottom half of the piece. I like the use of shading in certain spots surrounding the figure and also on the body. This drawing looks effortless but has a strong attention to detail as well.
