Maddie, I am most interested in what you mean by "focus". Do you mean establishing emphasis in a piece based on how much focus or detail you develop in one part as opposed to another? I think you should try to develop these a bit more and decide what specifically you want to explore in each of these categories.
I think all your ideas could be really interesting if you develop them specifically. I agree with Mrs. Silverman that focus sounds really interesting. It makes me thing about your self portrait that was focused on you with a blurred background. thats what I picture for this topic and it could be really interesting.
