1. Post three questions in preparation for Aubrey Levinthal's visit to our class on Monday. Ms. Levinthal is a representative from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philly.
2. Please visit www.pafa.org to learn a bit more about the school and its museum. She will present an overview of the school and its undergrad program and also hopes to see some of your work.
3. Most importantly: Please bring in 3-10 pieces to class next week (hopefully more) for your portfolio review. This is a valuable opportunity for you to get some objective feedback form a fine arts college admissions representative.
4. I have some exciting news for you! We will be joining the AP History class and going to Washington DC on Wednesday November 30th! We will be visiting the National Gallery and then for the second half of the day we will go to another museum or gallery. I was thinking after the National Gallery we could go to the Hirschhorn: http://hirshhorn.si.edu/ There is a Warhol "Shadows" exhibit going on that looks really interesting and I know from looking at your sketchbooks many of you cite him as a mentor artist.
