Figure Drawing

In preparation for our figure studies from life next week, begin looking at drawings of figure drawings. Post an image of a figure study you find successful and explain why. Consider how the artist handles light, form and energy in the figure. Remember that a figure study could also be a gestural study, it does not have to be a "finished" highly resolved study. I have posted two examples of very different visual responses to the human form, both equally viable. Post due Friday 10/7 by 4pm.
